Frisbee? - Ist das nicht diese Scheibe, mit der man am Strand spielt? Ja genau! Aber Ultimate Frisbee ist eine der schnellsten Teamsportarten.
Gespielt wird auf einem Spielfeld, welches so lang, aber halb so breit ist wie ein Fußballfeld. Jeweils am Ende befinden sich Endzonen. Durch Zuspielen der Scheibe versucht man in die gegnerische Endzone zu gelangen. Wird die Scheibe dort gefangen, gibt es einen Punkt. Mit der Scheibe darf nicht gelaufen werden und Körperkontakt ist nicht erlaubt, also eine sehr faire Sportart. Eine:n Schiedsrichter:in gibt es auch nicht. Ultimate Frisbee ist die ideale Verschmelzung bekannter Sportarten mit Elementen von American Football, Basketball, Handball und Volleyball. Gespielt wird mit der rotierenden Wurfscheibe von Frauen und Männern gemeinsam.
Von grazil-phänomenalen Wurftechniken bis hin zum Wettkampfsport kannst du alles lernen. Für diesen athletischen Laufsport brauchst du ein wenig Puste und Klamotten, in denen du dich wohlfühlst. Neugierig auf eine neue Definition von Fairness? ... catch the ultimate spirit!
Hinweis: Der Kurs "Ultimate Frisbee Level 2" findet in diesem Wintersemester 2023/24 auf dem Rasen im Stadion am Campusbereich Sport/ Kugelberg statt. Bei schlechter Witterung wie starkem Regen, Schneefall oder Frost darf der Rasen nicht betreten werden, was einen Kursausfall zur Folge hat. Um Nachholtermine im Laufe des Semesters bis 11.02.2024 anbieten zu können, planen wir bereits im Vorhinein lediglich 10 Kurstermine im Zeitraum vom 16.10. bis 23.12.2023 ein. Über Ausfälle informieren wir per E-Mail!
Level 1
Dieser Kurs ist für alle Anfänger:innen geeignet, die diesen tollen Sport kennenlernen wollen. Es werden vor allem Grundtechniken vermittelt und in Spielen umgesetzt.
Level 2
Wenn ihr die Grundtechniken beherrscht und die Regeln kennt, seid ihr in diesem Kurs genau richtig.

Face to face course
Frisbee? Isn't that the thing you play with at the beach? Yes, that is right. however, Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest team sports.
It is played on a field which is as long as a football field (but only half as wide) or in a sports hall. There are two endzones. By passing the frisbee disc to your team members, you try to reach the opposing team's endzone and if the frisbee is caught there, your team scores a point. You mustn't run with the disc and physical contact is not allowed either. So it is a type of sport with a high level of fair play. Neither does Ultimate Frisbee need a referee. It is an optimal merger of other sports with elements from American football, basketball, handball and volleyball. The sport with the rotating disc and probably the highest level of fair play of all sports is played in mixed teams.
You can learn all the elements of ultimate frisbee here, ranging from phenomenal graceful throws to complex competitive strategy. For this athletic running sport you need some endurance, comfortable clothes and sports shoes.

Note: The Ultimate Frisbee Level 2 course will be held on the turf in the stadium at the Sports/ Kugelberg campus area this winter semester 2023/24. In the event of inclement weather such as heavy rain, snowfall, or freezing temperatures, the turf may not be accessed, resulting in a course cancellation. In order to offer make-up dates during the semester through Feb. 11, 2024, we are already scheduling in advance only 10 course dates during the period Oct. 16-Dec. 23, 2023. We will inform you about cancellations by e-mail!
Level 1
This course is suitable for all beginners who want to get to know this great sport. Mainly basic techniques are taught and implemented in games.
Level 2
If you have mastered the basic techniques and know the rules, this is the right course for you.
